My wife, Tonya, and I have been married for 26 years. We have two daughters, Emma and Sadie, who are both involved with RockPointe. I am an avid movie watcher (and really good at trivia involving 80’s movies!), and enjoy running and travelling.

We started at Bow Valley Alliance in 2001. We were invited by a new neighbor in Tuscany to one of the outreach theaters the church used to do. We were expecting our first daughter (Emma) at the time. We felt a real sense of community and became regular attendees. After Emma was born, we joined an Alpha session and were introduced to many of the regulars of the church. We volunteered to be one of the ‘seed’ families for the plant at the Bearspaw school and were very involved in the activities of that site. Once Bow Valley joined with Country Hills, we started attending Bearspaw and that has been our site to this day.

My education is in Cybersecurity coming up on 25 years in this field. I am presently the Chief Information Security Officer at SAIT, and was previously employed at Enbridge as the Director of Cybersecurity Strategy, Governance and Advisory for over four years.

I have been involved as a volunteer with Children’s ministry and currently help lead and coordinate the Bearspaw Men’s ministry Saturday morning bible study. I am active in volunteering for various events at RockPointe and have participated in many of the plays and drama events throughout the years.

My spiritual gifts are giving, helping/serving, administration, mercy and faith.
