Marcia grew up in a Christian family, committing her life to Jesus when she was just six years old. Navigating the challenges of her mother's dementia taught Marcia to draw near to God and hear his voice in prayer. Mom of three young adults, Marcia is a high school guidance counsellor who enjoys daily walks, reading, podcasts, and spending time with close friends and family. Marcia's spiritual gifts lay primarily in teaching and discernment, and she looks forward to contributing to the elders board by making use of her ability to perceive God's large-scale movements and break them down into something more easily grasped.
