Car Exchange

A licensed mechanic checks over all donated vehicles. Non-cosmetic repairs are made before the vehicle is given away or sold. All donated vehicles will receive a final safety inspection by a qualified, licensed mechanic.

The vehicles are then either sold or given to pre-approved recipients.

• Used cars are sold very cheaply (even those in good working order)

• Vehicle trade-ins at the dealership often offer only a reduced amount

• Transferring ownership of the vehicle will be done in a convenient and timely manner

• By donating, someone in need of a vehicle will be greatly blessed and possibly influenced for the kingdom of God

• Sold and the funds designated to the ministry of RockPointe Church.

Donors will receive tax receipts for the vehicle's value, which will be valued using a certified car appraiser.

If you need a vehicle but cannot afford one, then submit an application to be considered for our RPC Car Exchange.

Qualifications

• Applicant must reside in Calgary or in the surrounding communities.

• Priority may be given to those who reside in a quadrant of Calgary where RockPointe Church has a site.

• Must be available for RPC to have ongoing contact and ministry.

• Must give reasonable proof of their income and need of a vehicle.

• Must be able to show enough disposable income to provide for insurance and operating costs.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Must provide proof of auto insurance prior to receiving a vehicle.

Please know that the application process does not guarantee that you will receive a vehicle from the RPC Car Exchange ministry.
