Baptism

If you have become a Jesus follower, the next step is to be baptized. Mark 16:16 says, "Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved."

Scripture encourages believer's baptism for every follower of Jesus. Even Jesus himself was baptized!

In Jesus' command to His followers just before He ascended into heaven, He said in Matthew 28:18-20: "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
