RockPointe Bowridge
"God's mercies are for all, because of Jesus Christ!" This is RockPointe Church at Bowridge's vision. We exist to help people know Jesus and follow his plan for their lives. We want to invite the world to worship God. As we do this together as a church community, we are transformed to know Christ and make Him known to the entire world!
I'd love to invite you to participate in one of our weekend gatherings, where you can expect to hear about Jesus while drawing close to Him in worship. You will be challenged to receive Christ's love and to express it to those you encounter throughout the week.
We have a number of ways of helping you respond to God's invitation to connect with Him, through Christ. Our contemporary worship style focuses on God and his Word, the Bible. Whether you're singing, serving others, or listening to teaching based on the Bible, God, and his plan is always our focus. No matter where you find yourself in life, your age or stage - all are welcome to be a part of worshipping God and learning his plan for our lives. There is a meaningful opportunity awaiting you. I encourage you to take that step toward God through knowing Jesus Christ personally.

UPDATE: WEEKEND SERVICES
22 March 2024 — Several months ago, the Bowridge Site Leadership Team (SLT) sensed that God had something new for Bowridge on Saturday evenings. This conviction led to an intentional and prayerful process of evaluation and discernment that included congregational surveys and many discussions. The SLT, comprised of pastoral staff and lay people from both Saturday and Sunday, met regularly to consider the implications of a number of options, weighing each one carefully and with open hands. In response to the Spirit's leading, the SLT has agreed unanimously that the time has come to implement the changes outlined below.
While declining attendance and volunteer availability were factors, they were eclipsed by a compelling vision of what Saturday evening could become—a space where the physically and spiritually hungry are nourished, and a church that glorifies Jesus by making a very real difference in the community in which it is situated.
In-Person Services
Before Sunday, April 14, 2024: Saturdays @ 6:30 p.m. and Sundays @ 9:30 a.m.
Beginning Sunday, April 14, 2024: Sundays only @ 10 a.m.
Location: 12 Bowridge Drive NW in Calgary, Alberta.
SATURDAY EVENINGS: NEW MONTHLY RHYTHM
The last "traditional" Saturday service will take place on April 6. Then, beginning April 13, Saturday evenings at Bowridge will become a primary environment in which we will express our commitment to two of RockPointe's five core values: helping those with needs and equipping God's people. These environments are open to all RockPointers, regardless of which site they regularly attend.
Week 1: Food Service (starts May 4)
We will be serving a delicious meal in our auditorium to people living in Greenwood Village and Bowness. This is a great opportunity to connect meaningfully with these neighbours while meeting a clear need.
Weeks 2 & 4: Small Groups & Discipleship Training Modules (starts April 13)
A time and space to meet with your small group and/or attend a one-hour "DTM" class that will strengthen and deepen your walk with God. Includes topics like The Book of Revelation and Understanding the Bible.
Week 3: Ascend (starts April 20)
An evening of extended worship, prayer, and the exploration and expression of spiritual gifts, Ascend is a “thin place” where we seek God’s face and listen to His voice.
Week 5 (when there are five Saturdays in a month): Your Call!
Take advantage of this occasional "bonus" Saturday to gather with others to build relationships or to meet a need in the community. It's up to you!
