Richard is a native Calgarian who grew up in a Christian family where he accepted Jesus at a young age. He married his high school sweetheart Lori, whom he met in church youth group, and together they have been blessed with three children – Lily, Audrey, and Seth. The Kruger family has been a part of the RockPointe Westhills congregation since 2009, shortly after moving to the SW community of Discovery Ridge. Richard is a Geophysicist who has worked in Calgary's energy industry for over 15 years. After leaving the energy industry, Richard received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and passed the Chartered Accountant Program (CPA) final exam (CFE). Richard is currently working in the finance group at Kids Cancer Care Foundation. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports like golf and hockey, and reading non-fiction in his spare time.
